Boy Scouts of America
On June 25 2008, Joe Lozowski was awarded the "Father of Scouting Award" by the Los Angeles Council of Boy Scouts of America. The award was presented at the North Star's Champions of Scouting District fundraising event at the Castaway Restaurant in Burbank. John C. Cushman, III, Chairman of Cushman and Wakefield, Inc., presented Joe with the prestigious award for his continued involvement and generous donation to the newly developed Cushman-Watt Scout Center in Los Angeles.  More than 250 guests attended and over $50,000 were raised to fund the Boy Scouts programs in the North Star District.

2008 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Orange County/Desert Cities 
On June 11 2008, Joe Lozowski, president and CEO of Tangram, was nominated for the 2008 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, for Orange County/Desert Cities region. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year(EOY) award honors entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures.  This award has become the mark of world-class individuals leading world-class companies. Each year approximately 1,400 people attend the national awards event in Palm Springs.
