For developer Thomas Properties Group, a new office in a recently acquired high-rise showcases the potential of their building.
Thomas Properties Group bought a piece of Los Angeles history in their acquisition of the downtown landmark, the ARCO Plaza (now City National Plaza.) To attract long-term tenants to the twin skyscrapers, the new landlord began to update and rebrand the buildings, and took advantage of the real estate opportunity to create their own west coast headquarters.
Tangram worked with the Thomas Properties team to create an office that illustrates the unique and varied opportunities for a tenant buildout in their newly acquired highrise. The space was organized into quadrants, each exemplifying a different planning approach: executive offices, law offices, alternative space, and traditional workstations. The office operates as a highly-effective leasing tool, using furnishings and architectural elements to demonstrate how different types of tenants can occupy the building with various densities and aesthetics.
