Tangram, a curator of highly creative commercial interior environments and workspaces, has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Orange County” for 2018 by the Orange County Business Journal. The rankings are grouped based on employee count, with Tangram sixth in the Large Companies category as published in the July 23, 2018, edition of the journal.
The program is designed to benefit the county’s economy, workforce and businesses by recognizing and honoring its best places of employment. The program was created in 2009 and is a project of the Orange County Business Journal in conjunction with Best Companies Group.
The competition consists of a two-part process. The first is an evaluation of each employer’s workplace policies, practices, benefits and demographics. The second involves an employee engagement survey on the company’s leadership, planning, culture, training, pay, benefits and other areas. Best Companies Group manages the survey process, analyzes the data and applies its expertise to determine the final rankings.
“We pride ourselves in practicing what we preach. Our spaces are based on the latest workplace research, we’re constantly updating and making improvements, and we provide our employees with the latest technology so they can do their best work,” said Tangram CEO and President Joe Lozowski. “It’s our belief that deep employee satisfaction is built on considering the physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing of our staff and creating a culture that makes this company a place they want to stay. Tangram is a big family, and I’m so proud that our employees echo that sentiment.”
In addition to its core furniture offering, Tangram operates five business units for a comprehensive approach to workplace design and installation that encompasses custom furniture, technology, flooring, walls, lighting, noise cancellation, furniture and facility revitalization, and move management.
