Meet Scott Wilde
Please join us in welcoming Scott Wilde to Tangram! He is joining the Dallas Tangram team as a Sales Executive. When he's not in the office, you can find Scott spending his free time playing soccer dad to his son or catching up on projects around the house. He's looking forward to joining the team and building relationships in and outside of Tangram. We are thrilled to have you here at Tangram!
1. What is your name and job title?
Scott Wilde, Sales Executive
2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
I am from the small town of Muenster, TX, but I now live in Corinth, TX.
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
Previously, I worked as the Operations Manager for a cabinet company that primarily installed in new residential.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
I’ve been a “soccer dad” to my 16-year-old son since he was 4. While that has been my primary hobby, a close second is tackling various DIY projects around the house.
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
I always recommend spending a weekend out at Lewisville Lake—it’s perfect for fishing, boating, or just relaxing by the water. For great food and a laid-back atmosphere, Elm Fork Taphouse is a must.
6. What's a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
While I enjoy woodworking, I’d love to improve my skills—especially when it comes to finer details and precision work.
7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
One of my most memorable meals was at Joe’s Crab Shack with my daughter when she was about 8. She loved the playground and that made it a family favorite, and once even invited herself to eat with another family nearby. She’s never met a stranger!
8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
I took my son to his first concert—a boys’ weekend in San Antonio to see Luke Combs. It was a blast getting to share that experience with him.
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
I follow college football, mainly the University of Texas. In pro sports, I’m a fan of the Mavericks, the Stars, and the Dallas Cowboys (this one can be tough).
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
I’m really excited to dive back into technology and help build long-term relationships with customers. I’m also looking forward to experiencing the company culture and reconnecting with those that I’ve worked with before.
