Letter From Dave

Good design should start from the floor up. The trends we have observed in flooring installation this year have made it clear that the construction interiors industry is experiencing a significant shift. There is now a greater emphasis placed on flooring as a component that significantly affects a space’s aesthetic as well as its performance.

Flooring is the largest canvas in a space, which is why the selection process is so important. It is all too often settled upon at the end of the design, but commercial flooring can be a primary feature of a high-impact environment that can be significantly enhanced by the colors and textures of the furniture that sits upon it. Beyond the feel of the space, the type of flooring selected will directly impact the functionality of the space, from technology to acoustics.
