
Understanding what drives the need for change
Concord set out to create a new Beverly Hills headquarters that reflects its position as a global leader in music, publishing, and entertainment. Located in the iconic “golden triangle,” the 40,000-square-foot space needed to foster creativity, collaboration, and connection across teams and artists.
The vision was clear: design a workplace that feels less like a traditional office and more like a hospitality-driven, lounge-inspired environment. The space needed to encourage spontaneous interaction, support a variety of workstyles, and provide inspiring areas for both focused work and creative exchange. With features like listening rooms, a rooftop penthouse, and panoramic views of Los Angeles, the challenge was to ensure the furniture experience matched the architectural ambition—elevating comfort, style, and functionality throughout.
How we brought the vision to life
Tangram partnered with Wolcott and the Concord team to deliver a comprehensive ancillary furniture solution that brought warmth, flexibility, and a distinctly “lounge-like” feel to the space.
Our approach focused on activating key environments where culture and creativity come to life. We curated furniture across café, reception, conference rooms, lounge areas, listening rooms, and the outdoor rooftop—ensuring each space supported both collaboration and relaxation. The design emphasized comfort and hospitality, creating inviting settings that encourage employees and artists to gather, connect, and create.
Particular attention was given to the upstairs café and listening/lounge spaces—signature areas that embody Concord’s brand and purpose. These environments were designed to feel immersive and inspiring, blending residential-style furnishings with functional workplace solutions. Across all areas, we prioritized flexibility and flow, allowing the space to adapt to a range of uses—from casual meetings to creative sessions.
Our team ensured a seamless installation, aligning furniture selections with the project’s elevated aesthetic and delivering a cohesive, experience-driven workplace.
