Understanding what drives the need for change
When global entertainment phenomenon Dude Perfect outgrew their makeshift workspace filled with Amazon and Staples furniture, they faced a unique challenge: how do you create a headquarters that's both professionally credible and authentically playful? The five founders needed their new 80,000-square-foot DPHQ3 facility in Frisco, Texas to serve multiple masters—serious business operations, high-stakes content production, and the kind of creative energy that built their empire on trick shots and boundless enthusiasm.
The vision was ambitious: consolidate office, production, and recreational spaces into one immersive environment that could support their current team while scaling for rapid growth. They wanted custom offices that commanded respect, collaborative zones that sparked creativity, and social spaces that reinforced the culture of fun and friendship that defines their brand. Most importantly, every square foot needed to feel undeniably 'Dude Perfect'—a place where business gets done but the spirit of play never dies.
How we brought the vision to life
Tangram partnered with Alliance Architects to craft a furniture strategy as dynamic and multifaceted as Dude Perfect themselves. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all solution, we developed distinct design languages for each space type while maintaining visual cohesion throughout the facility. Working with premium manufacturers including HALCON, Studio Other, Kimball, Steelcase, West Elm, and Blu Dot, we carefully balanced executive sophistication with brand authenticity.
Our process involved deep collaboration with the founding team to understand how they work, create, and connect. We designed custom HALCON executive offices that give each founder their own creative sanctuary, while the open workspace features flexible Studio Other desking systems that adapt as teams and projects evolve. The real magic happened in the social spaces—from the central cafe and lounge areas to the unique 'Dudes Lounge' retreat and viewing platform for content reviews. Every furniture selection reinforced the message that this isn't just another corporate headquarters, but a place where extraordinary ideas come to life.
