Understanding what drives the need for change

For more than four decades, Pharmavite has earned its reputation as a trusted leader in health and wellness, building relationships with consumers, healthcare professionals, and retailers through their commitment to essential nutrition and quality supplements. When the company underwent a comprehensive rebrand, they faced the challenge of creating a headquarters that would reflect their renewed identity while supporting the wellbeing of their 350 employees.

The West Hills, California facility needed to strike a delicate balance between showcasing Pharmavite's growing portfolio of wellness brands and creating an environment that truly embodied their mission of promoting good health through proper nutrition. The space had to serve as both a professional workplace and a living testament to the company's values, requiring furniture and design solutions that would support everything from daily operations to their unique on-site vitamin store.

Our Approach

How we brought the vision to life

Working alongside HOK architects, Tangram developed a comprehensive furniture strategy that would seamlessly weave together Pharmavite's playful new brand identity with their serious commitment to employee wellness. The team carefully curated pieces from fifteen premium manufacturers, ensuring that each selection would complement the space's organic design philosophy and biophilic elements.

The approach centered on creating diverse environments that would support different work styles and company functions. From collaborative huddle rooms to quiet library spaces, from energizing game areas to professional conference rooms, every piece of furniture was chosen to reinforce Pharmavite's wellness mission. Special attention was paid to ergonomic considerations, with height-adjustable workstations becoming a cornerstone of the design to promote physical health throughout the workday. Raw wood finishes and natural materials were integrated throughout to create an authentic connection between the built environment and Pharmavite's commitment to natural wellness solutions.
