1. What is your name and job title?
Josh Shoulders - Sales Executive
2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
I was born in Irving, TX, and now live in Royse City, TX
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I worked for a furniture manufacturer that specialized in acoustics booths and other acoustic products. My role at this organization was a Regional Sales Manager, and my responsibilities were to travel with my independent reps to local dealers, design firms or end users to present our product line.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
On the weekends I will usually have something going on the smoker outside in between TBall games or fishing adventures with my young boys.
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
I will usually cook something for people visiting. I really enjoy cooking. Outside of that, pizza, Tex Mex and Sushi are always favorites for my wife and I
6. What's a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
My favorite thing to cook is a new dish or a new type of cuisine. So anytime I can improve my knowledge in the kitchen and learn a new recipe or technique, I am excited. As far as learning something completely new, I have always wanted to learn to play an instrument.
7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
My wife’s favorite meal I make and a memory that always sticks out is a steaks, with lobster risotto. Of course it tasted fantastic, but it was right after the birth of our first child, our anniversary dinner at home and the three of us sitting around the table soaking in the moment.
8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
Seeing my oldest have his first Ah-Ha moment in TBall, that became a Huge confidence booster and ignited his excitement for baseball.
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
Texas Longhorns, Dallas Teams across the Board (Rangers, Cowboys, Stars, Mavs)
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
I am looking forward to getting back to the front lines of the conversations when it comes to a sale. I hope to bring some in depth knowledge from my experience on the manufacturing side, and be a resource to anyone and everyone if possible.
