# Meet Stacey LeGros: Bringing Design Passion and Industry Expertise to Tangram
We're excited to introduce Stacey LeGros, the newest member of our design team. With 13 years of commercial furniture experience and a fresh perspective on client-centered design, Stacey brings both expertise and enthusiasm to her role as a remote Designer at Tangram.
## From Coast to Coast: A Design Journey
Stacey's path to commercial design began with moves across the country—from Arizona and California in her early years to eventually settling in West Chester, Ohio as a teenager. Today, she calls Dayton, Ohio home, where she's built an impressive career in the commercial furniture industry.
**Her professional journey spans over a decade with Business Furniture, a prominent Steelcase dealership.** Starting as a designer in the Indianapolis office, she eventually developed her role at the Dayton location, spending the last seven years as a Workplace Specialist and Design Manager.
## Returning to Design Roots
What excites Stacey most about joining Tangram? The opportunity to focus purely on design again.
"The last few years being so sales-focused had me lose a bit of what I loved doing," she explains. "I want to take my love and passion for our industry into the client experience and provide them the environment they have been dreaming of."
This renewed focus on design-first thinking aligns perfectly with current industry trends, where commercial spaces are increasingly viewed as strategic tools for employee engagement, productivity, and company culture.
## Beyond the Design Studio
When she's not creating inspiring workspaces, you'll find Stacey at Rinse Cycle, her favorite spinning class that she credits with "rinsing" away daily stress. She's also a devoted dog mom to two rescues—a beagle puppy and a two-year-old chocolate lab who became part of her family within just two months of each other.
**Her current obsession?** *The Crown* on Netflix, which feeds into her fascination with the British monarchy. "I wonder what it would be like to be a Queen. What does a day in the life really look like?" she muses.
In a more unexpected turn, Stacey has developed a keen interest in bees, particularly fascinated by their ability to recognize individual human faces—a detail that speaks to her eye for observation and detail that serves her well in design work.
## What This Means for Commercial Design
Stacey's extensive dealership experience brings valuable insight into the practical realities of commercial furniture specification and installation. Her years managing both design and workplace strategy provide a unique perspective on how furniture decisions impact actual workplace functionality.
**For design professionals, her background highlights the importance of understanding the full project lifecycle**—from initial concept through final installation and ongoing client relationships.
## Looking Ahead
As Stacey settles into her new role, she's focused on bringing her "enthusiasm, energy, experience and love of furniture" to every client interaction. Her goal is simple but powerful: helping clients achieve the workspace environment they've been dreaming of.
Welcome to the team, Stacey! We're looking forward to seeing how your design passion and industry expertise will enhance the spaces we create together.
