Tangram, a curator of highly creative commercial interior environments headquartered in Southern California, is pleased to announce that it has added two new team members to its growing technology team in the new regional headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
Scott Birdsong joins Tangram’s Dallas technology team as the Regional Operations Manager. He brings nearly 30 years of professional experience to the table in both the audio and visual industries. Birdsong has been a Senior System Design Engineer, Vice President of A/V Design, and a Senior Tech Consultant, all in the Dallas market.
“My goal at Tangram is to help our clients better understand the capabilities of our current technologies,” said Birdsong. “I will work toward creating dynamic solutions that not only meet but exceed their expectations.”
Birdsong currently lives in the Rockwall area and was born and raised in Texas. He and his family operate a non-profit workshop called “Rockwall Makerspace,” in which they provide people in the community with access to tools, workspace, and training programs for a variety of skills. These skills include everything from woodworking to programming.
Breana Parker joins the tech team with more than nine years of experience in professional A/V sales in Dallas and Fort Worth territories. She also boasts more than 12 years of experience in the technology industry, which makes her an ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager of Tangram Technology.
“My goal for year one is to establish a local team and processes to ensure projects are deployed seamlessly, on time, and within budget,” said Parker. “In doing so, we will build trust and a positive reputation that will solidify our foundation to grow within the DFW market.”
Parker started the program “Texas Tech in Commercial Real Estate” alongside Sarah Wange, Tangram Interiors’ Architectural Walls and Product Sales Executive. She also participates in a handful of CRE charities, including the Dallas County Children’s Advocacy program “Aim for Advocacy.” In her spare time, she supports The Birthday Party Project, which grants birthday celebrations to children in the DFW area experiencing homelessness.
“We are thrilled to welcome Breana and Scott to our growing technology team here in Dallas. Their unique skills and expertise will be invaluable assets as we continue to expand and innovate in the tech industry,” says Eric Lockwood, Tangram Managing Director, Technology. “Our team is making a big splash in the market, and these new additions will only help us to further establish ourselves as leaders in the field.”
In October 2021 Tangram first announced its finalized acquisition of the BKM Total Office of Texas. Breana and Scott join Tangram executives Chief Executive Officer, Joe Lozowski, Chief Financial Officer, Nick Greenko and Vice President of Sales, Amber Jones in their new positions in Dallas. The Dallas office is set to add upwards of 20 people to the team and complete a new showroom, opening summer 2023.
