Tangram Interiors has been selected as one of just 12 Steelcase dealers across the United States and Canada to join Microsoft's Partner Network as an authorized Surface Hub reseller. This strategic partnership positions us to offer cutting-edge collaboration technology alongside our comprehensive furniture solutions.

## A Strategic Partnership for Creative Workplaces

"Tangram is thrilled to join the Microsoft partner network as part of a select set of Steelcase authorized dealers, and to offer the Surface Hub to our customers," said Tangram President and CEO Joe Lozowski. "Steelcase and Microsoft recently announced a collaboration to create thoughtfully designed workplaces with the right mix of architecture, furniture and technology, and we're excited to be part of this effort."

This authorization comes as part of a broader collaboration between Steelcase and Microsoft to develop technology-enabled spaces that foster creative thinking and enhance collaboration. Together, they're creating environments that seamlessly integrate Microsoft Surface devices with Steelcase architecture and furniture.

## The Challenge: Creativity as a Business Imperative

Recent joint research by Steelcase and Microsoft reveals compelling insights about the modern workplace:

- **72% of workers** believe their future success depends on their ability to be creative - **76% believe** emerging technologies will change their jobs, requiring more creative skills as routine work becomes automated - Only **25% of respondents** feel they can be creative in their current group work spaces - Employees ranked having **a place to work without disruption** as the second highest factor that could improve creativity

The research, conducted among 515 US and Canadian companies with 100+ employees, highlights a critical gap: while organizations recognize creativity as essential, many invest in technology and space as separate entities rather than taking a holistic approach.

## Creative Spaces: Where Technology Meets Design

In March, Steelcase and Microsoft unveiled five new "Creative Spaces" that demonstrate how integrated design can unlock creativity for every employee. These spaces recognize that creativity is a process requiring:

- **Diverse work modes** - from individual focus to group collaboration - **Mobile, integrated technology** that adapts to different activities - **Inspiring environments** that don't compromise performance

"Every Microsoft Surface device strives to enable the creator in each of us. Devices like Surface Hub are fundamentally designed around how people naturally create, connect, and collaborate," says Ryan Gavin, general manager of Microsoft Surface Marketing. "With Steelcase we have the compelling opportunity to blend place and technology into a seamless environment that allows our most important asset, our people, to unlock their creativity."

## Supporting Tomorrow's Workplace Today

"The dealers offering the Surface Hub to customers are in a unique position to support businesses that want to empower employees, inspire ideas and accelerate innovation," said Joel Zwier, smart and connected strategic partnerships lead at Steelcase. "Together with Steelcase and Microsoft, Tangram will help organizations thoughtfully integrate place and technology to encourage creative behavior at work."

As we face unprecedented change in how and where we work, this partnership represents our commitment to bringing together the best of space and technology. We're helping Southern California organizations solve today's workplace challenges while preparing for tomorrow's opportunities.
