# Tangram Interiors Expands with New Fresno Showroom

After more than a decade of serving Central Valley businesses and school districts, Tangram Interiors is taking a significant step forward with a move to a larger, more visible showroom space in Fresno.

## A Strategic Relocation

The Los Angeles-based commercial design firm is relocating from its current 5,000 square-foot space on Palmdon Drive to a new 6,500 square-foot showroom at 7700 N. Palm Avenue. The February 2024 move positions the company in a premier building with prominent street signage along one of Fresno's busiest corridors.

**"I'm thrilled to be able to showcase all of what Tangram can bring to the table — to the community,"** says Regional Manager Alyssa Armesto. **"With our other space, we were limited. We're not going to have that roadblock this time."**

## More Than Just Additional Square Footage

The expanded space represents more than a simple size upgrade. The additional room will allow Tangram to:

- Demonstrate complete workspace transformations across corporate, education, and healthcare environments - Showcase virtual conferencing applications and emerging workplace technologies - Create immersive client experiences that inspire design possibilities - Host larger community events and collaborative sessions

The current showroom, last renovated in 2019, has served as a versatile space for client meetings and community events, including hosting The Business Journal's "60 Ideas in 60 Minutes" virtual speakers series.

## A Long-Term Commitment

Tangram's decision to sign a 10-year lease signals serious commitment to the Central Valley market. **"We want to show our commitment to the community,"** Armesto explains. **"We're not going anywhere, and we are investing in this new space, not only for our internal team, but to service our community."**

The search for the new location began in summer 2022, with the team working alongside real estate professionals to identify the ideal space. By December 2022, they had secured the North Palm Avenue location.

## Building on Six Decades of Success

Founded in 1963, this woman-owned business has grown from its Santa Fe Springs headquarters to include locations in Newport Beach, Downtown Los Angeles, Bakersfield, and a recently opened Dallas-Fort Worth office.

Despite this expansion, Tangram maintains its family-oriented culture. **"We're constantly growing. We're a large organization, but we're still family-owned,"** notes Armesto. **"People are at the center of everything we do, and we've got just a killer culture."**

## What's Next

The company plans to celebrate the new showroom with a community opening party in early Q2 2024, giving local businesses and design professionals an opportunity to experience the expanded capabilities firsthand.

For commercial design professionals in the Central Valley, this expansion represents access to a more comprehensive resource for workspace transformation, from initial concept through technology integration and final implementation.

The move reflects broader trends in the commercial design industry, where showrooms are evolving from simple product displays to immersive experience centers that help clients envision complete workplace solutions.
