# Tangram Ten: Meet Amber Carlo

We're excited to introduce **Amber Carlo**, who has joined Tangram as our Corporate Trainer. With over 15 years of experience in Learning and Development, Amber brings a wealth of knowledge and an infectious passion for helping others grow in their careers.
## From California to Commercial Design
Amber's journey began in Chino, California, where she grew up before moving to Ontario after marrying her husband Joe in 2000. The family later settled in Hesperia in 2006, where they've been raising their children ever since.
Her professional background spans diverse industries, with most of her training experience rooted in property management. Most recently, she spent a year and a half in the fascinating world of air medical training, bringing fresh perspectives to her new role at Tangram.
## Beyond the Office
Amber's dedication to learning extends far beyond her professional life. She and her husband are devoted New England Patriots fans who make it a tradition to visit a different stadium each year to catch a game. Last year's highlight was finally seeing the Patriots play at their home stadium in New England—a bucket-list experience that included touring Boston, dining at the famous Cheers restaurant, and visiting Plymouth Rock.
When she's not cheering on her team, you'll find Amber enjoying Mexican food (her absolute favorite cuisine) or spending quality time with her blended family of five children, including three bonus daughters and two teenagers.
## A Personal Touch
One of the most remarkable aspects of Amber's story is her courage in embracing a blended family. Twenty years ago, she married Joe, who already had three daughters. Now, she can't imagine life without Amanda (30), Stephanie (24), Makenzie (23), Allie (16), and Joey (15).
If given the chance to have lunch with anyone, Amber would choose her father, who passed away when she was just four years old. "People who knew him tell me stories about what a cool dude he was," she shares. "I would love to get to know him over some Mexican food and a beer."
## Looking Forward at Tangram
**What excites Amber most about her new role?** Learning everything about Tangram—from the sales process to understanding our customers and discovering how she can best support employees in building successful careers.
"I hope to infect people at Tangram with my passion for learning," Amber explains. "I want people to be able to use me as a resource to learn and to get to the place in their career that they have always wanted to get to."
