# Meet Our Newest Designer: Amity Bertsch
We're excited to welcome **Amity Bertsch** to the Tangram team as our newest Designer. With her extensive background as Design Director at Loth, a Cincinnati Steelcase dealership, Amity brings valuable industry expertise and a fresh perspective to our growing team.
## From Ohio to New Horizons
A West Chester, Ohio native, Amity has spent years building relationships with clients and developing deep knowledge of commercial design solutions. Her experience with Steelcase products and systems adds another layer of expertise to Tangram's comprehensive design capabilities.
When she's not creating inspiring workspaces, you'll find Amity planning her next seaside getaway or enjoying a perfectly crafted martini—shaken, not stirred, naturally.
## Getting to Know Amity: Ten Questions
**What's something you recently crossed off your bucket list?** "While on a day cruise in Cabo with family and friends, we saw whales breaching all around us—almost too close! It was an incredible experience."
**How would you describe your favorite food?** "Bang Bang shrimp is pure perfection. The sweet-hot sauce over semi-crunchy batter hits every taste bud and pairs beautifully with a martini."
**Dream lunch companion?** "Sean Connery, without question. As a huge James Bond fan, I'd love to hear his behind-the-scenes stories from those iconic films."
**What excites you most about joining Tangram?** "I'm looking forward to working with new people and new clients in a different part of the country. There's so much opportunity to grow and learn."
**What's the bravest thing you've ever done?** "Recently, saying goodbye to my son when we dropped him off at college. Nothing prepares you for that mix of emotions—pride, happiness, and sadness all at once."
**Donut capacity?** "I could probably make a half dozen disappear without too much trouble. Good thing there aren't many donut shops near the office!"
**What do you hope to bring to Tangram?** "My passion for great design and years of client experience. I believe in creating spaces that truly work for the people who use them."
