1. Name, title?
Chelsea Sheehan, Customer Service Representative
2. Where is your hometown?
I grew up in Fullerton, CA and this is where I attended school as a child through college.
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I previously worked at Western Office Interiors as a Project Coordinator. I was responsible for projects from signature on, so I would place the orders, track shipments, work with manufacturers to coordinate dates as well as schedule installation to completion and process any possible punch.
4. What is something you recently crossed off your bucket list?
Recently something I crossed off my bucket list was traveling throughout Europe for two weeks with my best friend David. We went to Iceland, Spain, Italy and Germany. By far my favorite trip; we met so many people staying in hostels, ate delicious food that was locally sourced and witnessed so much history in such a short amount of time.
5. How would you describe your favorite food to someone who’s never had it before?
My favorite food would have to be homemade taquitos. They are crispy and savory, made with roast beef, rolled up in a corn tortilla then fried to perfection. I love it with a side of re-fried beans and homemade Spanish rice.
6. If you could have lunch with someone famous (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
If I could have lunch with anyone, it would be Dave Grohl. I am a huge Foo Fighters fan and would love the opportunity to sit down with him. They brought back Cal Jam two years ago and headline the show, I go every single year! I find such a connection with their music and would love to discuss his inspirations and the passion that goes into the music.
7. What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Tangram?
One thing I am looking forward to at Tangram is being involved in the quoting process. I feel I will gain a better understanding of projects and product when I am involved from the beginning.
8. What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
One of the bravest things I’ve done is climb Koko Head in Hawaii at 2:00pm in the summertime. It is very steep and the heat was brutal. The hike is on abandoned railroad tracks and can be very difficult if you aren’t prepared. I definitely struggled to get to the top but once you are all the way up, you climb onto an abandoned bunker that was used during World War II. The views are absolutely stunning and you see way out into the blue water.
9. How many donuts are you capable of eating in one sitting?
Truthfully I can only eat 2 donuts if I’m lucky. Back when I was in high school, easily 6.
10. What do you hope to bring to the Tangram team?
I hope that with my industry experience I’ll bring to the team, we can improve the work flow and workload to make for successful teamwork. I always try to put my best foot forward and I hope that my positive outlook will not only help me, but also the people I will be working directly with.
