## Meet Claremarie Fecteau: Our New Purchasing Administrator
We're thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Santa Fe Springs team, **Claremarie Gertrude Fecteau**, who joins us as a Purchasing Administrator. With her liberal arts background from Northeast Catholic College and fresh perspective from the fashion manufacturing industry, Claremarie brings exactly the kind of adaptable thinking that drives innovation in commercial design.
Her journey to Tangram is as interesting as it is inspiring. After growing up in Mendon, Massachusetts, Claremarie made the cross-country move to California, where she honed her skills at fashion manufacturer Bella+Canvas. As an Inside Sales Support Representative, she quickly mastered wholesale terminology and even stepped into training newer employees—a testament to her natural ability to learn quickly and share knowledge effectively.
## From Fashion to Furniture: A Natural Transition
The skills that made Claremarie successful in fashion manufacturing translate beautifully to commercial interior design. Her experience managing large orders, handling returns, and navigating customer inquiries through multiple channels has prepared her well for the detailed coordination that purchasing administration demands.
What sets Claremarie apart is her genuine enthusiasm for learning. When asked about her goals at Tangram, she shared her excitement about diving deep into the furniture design industry and becoming an integral part of our team culture.
## Getting to Know Claremarie
Beyond her professional qualifications, Claremarie brings personality and perspective that enriches our team dynamic. She describes herself as naturally independent—much like her favorite animal, the cat—but deeply committed to the people and projects she cares about.
Her practical approach to life shines through in everything from her hypothetical lottery winnings strategy (student loans first, then Europe and retirement planning) to her food philosophy (cheese for its versatility and nutritional value). This balance of pragmatism and enjoyment reflects the thoughtful approach she brings to her work.
## What Claremarie Brings to Commercial Design
As someone who originally dreamed of becoming a writer or editor, Claremarie understands the importance of clear communication and attention to detail—crucial skills in purchasing administration where precision can make or break project timelines.
Her commitment to **versatility, reliability, and continuous learning** aligns perfectly with the evolving demands of commercial interior design, where purchasing administrators must navigate complex supply chains, manage vendor relationships, and adapt to changing project requirements.
## Looking Forward
Claremarie's enthusiasm for putting down roots at Tangram reflects something we value deeply: the understanding that great commercial design happens when talented people are supported to do their best work. Her appreciation for Tangram's employee-focused culture, combined with her determination to contribute meaningfully, positions her to make a real impact on our projects and client relationships.
Welcome to the Tangram family, Claremarie. We're excited to see how your unique perspective and dedicated approach will contribute to creating exceptional commercial spaces for our clients.
