## Getting to Know Lucy Garcia: Our Newest Flooring Team Member
We're thrilled to introduce Lucy Garcia, who recently joined Tangram as a Customer Service Representative for our Flooring team. Lucy brings valuable experience from her previous role as an office manager at a commercial contracting company, along with an enthusiasm for tackling new challenges that will serve our clients well.
### From El Monte to Mountain Slopes
A native of El Monte, California, Lucy embodies the spirit of continuous growth that defines our team culture. Her recent adventure learning to snowboard at Mt. Baldy perfectly captures her approach to both life and work—she's not afraid to step outside her comfort zone and master new skills.
"I'm not a professional snowboarder yet, but lookout world!" Lucy laughs, describing her winter mountain experience.
### A Passion for Excellence
Lucy's dedication to quality extends beyond the workplace. As a self-described foodie, she dreams of sharing a meal prepared by Gordon Ramsey—though she admits her own relationship with food can be quite indulgent. When describing her favorite treat, ice cream, she calls it "a piece of heaven" that's "extremely good for the soul when eaten in moderation."
This attention to the finer things in life translates directly to her professional approach, where she values craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

What excites Lucy most about joining Tangram is the opportunity to grow within a larger, more diverse organization. Coming from a smaller company, she's energized by the creative environment and the chance to contribute to our reputation for delivering successful design solutions.
"I am impressed by the diversity at Tangram Interiors and I am pleased to be a part of such a creative team," she explains.
Lucy's problem-solving skills were perhaps best tested when she hosted a sleepover for her son and five of his friends—complete with slime-making and endless games of hide and seek. If she can manage that chaos, she's definitely prepared for the dynamic world of commercial flooring projects.
