# Tangram Ten // Marissa Lambert
We're excited to introduce the newest member of our design team: **Marissa Lambert**, who brings fresh energy and creative vision to our Santa Fe Springs office.
## Meet Our New Designer
Marissa graduated from Florida State University in 2016 with a degree in Interior Design + Architecture. Before joining Tangram, she honed her skills as an interior planner at Perdue Office Interiors, a Steelcase dealer in Jacksonville, Florida. This experience working with commercial furniture solutions and space planning gives her a solid foundation for tackling complex workplace design challenges.
## Beyond the Drawing Board
This Houston native (specifically from The Woodlands area) brings an adventurous spirit that translates into creative problem-solving. Her bucket list reads like an adventure novel: scuba diving in the British Virgin Islands, rock climbing, sailing, and exploring new countries. Surprisingly, she considers becoming a group fitness instructor one of her bravest accomplishments—even braver than night diving or international travel.
When it comes to creative inspiration, Marissa draws from unexpected sources. She'd love to have lunch with glass artist Dale Chihuly to observe his creative process firsthand. This appreciation for artistry and craftsmanship reflects the attention to detail she brings to her design work.
## What She Brings to Tangram
**Fresh Perspective**: Coming from a different market and dealer environment, Marissa offers new insights into how commercial spaces can better serve their users.
**Positive Energy**: Her enthusiasm for collaboration and new challenges creates an atmosphere that benefits both team dynamics and client relationships.
**Technical Foundation**: Her educational background combining interior design and architecture provides the structural understanding essential for commercial projects.
## Looking Ahead
Marissa is most excited about diving into large-scale projects where she can make a meaningful impact on how people experience their work environments. Her combination of technical skills, creative vision, and collaborative spirit positions her well for the complex challenges of commercial interior design.
*Fun fact: While Marissa's sweet tooth could handle two dozen donuts in a competitive setting, she describes cupcakes as "miniature versions of sugary happiness that you can never have too many of."*
Welcome to the team, Marissa! We're looking forward to seeing the fresh perspective and positive energy you'll bring to our upcoming projects.
