## Meet Melissa Rochford: Bringing Fresh Energy to Our Newport Beach Team

We're thrilled to welcome Melissa Rochford as the newest Project Coordinator at our Newport Beach office. Fresh out of Notre Dame, where she balanced academics with playing softball for the Fighting Irish, Melissa brings the discipline and teamwork skills that make exceptional project coordinators.

What sets Melissa apart? Her genuine enthusiasm for collaboration and her commitment to creating positive working relationships—qualities that are essential in commercial interior design where projects depend on seamless coordination between multiple stakeholders.

## Getting to Know Melissa

**Hometown:** Irvine, California

**Previous Role:** This marks Melissa's entry into the professional world, transitioning from her role as a student-athlete at Notre Dame.

**Recent Adventure:** Just completed an epic road trip across the United States and Canada with her best friend, including a stop at Iceland's Blue Lagoon—talk about making the most of life between graduation and starting her career.

## Beyond the Office

When she's not coordinating project timelines, you'll likely find Melissa at Din Tai Fung enjoying their spicy wontons ("pork and vegetable dumplings in the most amazing sauce ever made," as she puts it). Her adventurous spirit extends beyond food—moving from California to Indiana for four years of college ranks as one of her bravest decisions.

## What Melissa Brings to Tangram

Ask Melissa what she's most excited about in her new role, and her answer is refreshingly straightforward: "Meeting and working with everyone!" It's this people-first approach that makes her a natural fit for project coordination, where building relationships and maintaining clear communication are paramount.

Her goal? Bringing positive energy to every project and interaction. In an industry where tight deadlines and complex requirements can create stress, having someone committed to maintaining team morale is invaluable.

## Looking Forward

As commercial interior design continues to evolve, fresh perspectives like Melissa's become increasingly important. Her combination of athletic discipline, academic achievement, and genuine enthusiasm for teamwork positions her well for success in our fast-paced environment.

We're excited to watch Melissa grow with our team and contribute to the exceptional project outcomes our Newport Beach office is known for. Welcome aboard, Melissa—we're looking forward to the positive impact you'll make!
