# Meet Sarabeth Schibler: Our New DTLA Showroom Coordinator
We're excited to welcome **Sarabeth Schibler** to the Tangram team as our new Showroom Coordinator for our Downtown Los Angeles space, where she'll be working with both Tangram and West Elm Workspace.
With a psychology degree from Cornell University and hands-on experience in customer service and operations management, Sarabeth brings a unique blend of people skills and organizational expertise to her new role. Most recently, she worked as an office assistant at Truffle Brothers, an Italian specialty food importer in Los Angeles, where she wore many hats—handling everything from customer service and sales to managing their deli and catering operations.
## Getting to Know Sarabeth: Our Ten Questions
We sat down with Sarabeth to learn more about what she brings to our team and what makes her tick.
**Where are you from originally?** Downey, California—a true local who knows the LA market inside and out.
**What drew you to commercial design?** After working in the fast-paced food industry, I'm excited to channel my energy into creating inspiring workspaces and connecting with the design community that visits our showroom.
**If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do first?** Get a lawyer! Smart thinking—always good to have someone looking out for your interests.
**What animal would you be and why?** An elephant seal, because I appreciate their commitment to laying out and soaking up the sun on the California coast. There's something to be said for knowing how to relax.
**One food for the rest of your life?** Salads—because you can put anything on top of lettuce and call it a salad. The versatility appeals to my creative side.
**What are you most excited about in this new role?** Meeting everyone who visits our space and really developing this position. There's something energizing about being part of a growing team and helping shape how we serve our design community.
**Dream job growing up?** I had high hopes of becoming a princess! While the tiara didn't work out, I think helping create beautiful spaces is pretty close.
**Most-used emoji?** The purple devil face—apparently I have a bit of a mischievous reputation to maintain.
**What do you hope to bring to Tangram?** Energy, organization, and creativity through event planning. I see huge potential for making our DTLA space not just a showroom, but a real hub for the design community.
## Why This Matters for Our Design Partners
Sarabeth's appointment reflects our commitment to enhancing the client experience at our DTLA location. Her background in customer service and operations, combined with her psychology degree, means she understands both the business side of design and the human elements that make projects successful.
For design professionals visiting our showroom, this means more personalized attention, better-organized resources, and potentially some exciting new events that bring the design community together.
We're thrilled to have Sarabeth on board and look forward to seeing how she helps elevate the experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Stop by our DTLA showroom to meet her in person—just look for the person bringing energy and organization in equal measure.
