## Meet Sarah Pearce: Our Newest Designer Brings Italian Flair and Literary Soul
We're excited to introduce Sarah Pearce, the newest member of our design team at Tangram Interiors. With her background in model home design and a refreshing perspective on creating spaces that truly work for people, Sarah is already making her mark on our collaborative approach to commercial interiors.
### From Orange County to Italian Dreams
As an Orange County native, Sarah brings a deep understanding of Southern California's design sensibilities. But her heart truly lies in Italy – from the rolling Tuscan landscapes to authentic, handcrafted pasta. In fact, when we asked what she'd do if she won the lottery, her answer was immediate: hop on a plane to Italy with her husband.
This Italian passion isn't just about wanderlust. It reflects Sarah's appreciation for craftsmanship and authenticity – qualities that translate beautifully into her design work. Whether it's the careful attention to detail in a handmade ravioli (her husband makes everything from scratch, including the ricotta) or the thoughtful curation of a commercial space, Sarah values the process as much as the result.
### A Designer's Journey
Sarah's previous experience at a model home design firm gave her invaluable insights into how people actually live and work in designed spaces. Model homes require a special touch – they need to feel aspirational yet accessible, functional yet inspiring. These skills translate perfectly to commercial design, where spaces must serve diverse users while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
**What excites Sarah most about her role at Tangram?** Creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. It's this dual focus that makes her such a valuable addition to our team.
### The Person Behind the Designs
When Sarah isn't transforming commercial spaces, you'll find her curled up with classic literature – think John Keats and Emily Brontë. Growing up, she dreamed of being a poet and writer, and that literary sensibility brings a narrative quality to her design approach. Every space tells a story, and Sarah has the skill to craft compelling ones.
She's also a devoted cat parent who understands the art of creating comfortable, nurturing environments. If she were an animal herself, she'd choose to be a house cat – appreciating sunny spots and a little spoiling (much like she provides for her two feline companions).
### What Sarah Brings to Commercial Design
Sarah's unique combination of residential design experience, collaborative spirit, and attention to both form and function makes her particularly well-suited for commercial interiors. Her background in model homes means she understands how to create spaces that appeal to diverse audiences – a crucial skill when designing offices, retail environments, or hospitality spaces.
Her literary background also brings a storytelling element to her work. Great commercial spaces don't just look good; they communicate brand values and create experiences. Sarah's ability to weave narrative into design helps create environments that truly resonate with users.
### Looking Forward
As Sarah settles into her role at Tangram, we're excited to see how her perspective enriches our projects. Her commitment to spaces that work as beautifully as they look aligns perfectly with our philosophy of thoughtful, user-centered design.
Commercial interior design is ultimately about people – how they work, interact, and feel in designed environments. Sarah's combination of technical skills, creative vision, and genuine care for the human experience makes her a perfect fit for our team.
Welcome to Tangram, Sarah! We can't wait to create amazing spaces together.
