## Meet Thomas Gallagher: Our Newest Design Talent

We're thrilled to introduce Thomas Gallagher, who recently joined Tangram as a Designer. Thomas brings valuable experience from Cleveland's furniture dealership industry, where he honed his skills in furniture design, wall design, and sales support.

### From Cleveland Courts to Commercial Design

This Cleveland native maintains an active lifestyle, hitting the basketball court at least once a week. When he's not designing commercial spaces or shooting hoops, Thomas is on a culinary quest that would make Guy Fieri proud. In fact, if Thomas could throw the perfect dinner party, the Mayor of Flavortown himself would be the guest of honor.

**Fun fact:** Thomas is passionate about local cuisine and swears by Swenson's hamburgers, calling them "the best burger in Ohio." We're curious to see how his regional food expertise translates to creating spaces where people gather and connect.

### What Thomas Brings to Tangram

When asked about his goals at Tangram, Thomas emphasized two key areas: - **High-level design capabilities** developed through his furniture dealership experience - **Collaborative teamwork** that strengthens our entire design process

### Looking Ahead

Thomas is excited about the opportunity to work alongside our talented team while continuing to grow professionally. His background in furniture dealership design provides a unique perspective on how commercial spaces function from both the design and business sides.

### Getting to Know Thomas

**Survival instincts:** If stranded on an island, Thomas would pack a hatchet (inspired by Gary Paulsen's novel *Hatchet*), matches for fire, and a pan for cooking. Practical choices from someone who clearly thinks through design challenges.

**Karaoke choice:** "Flashing Lights" by Kanye West – a selection that suggests Thomas isn't afraid to take creative risks.

We're excited to see how Thomas's experience, enthusiasm, and fresh perspective will contribute to our commercial design projects. His combination of technical skills and collaborative spirit makes him a valuable addition to our growing team.

Welcome to Tangram, Thomas!
