Tangram Ten // Todd Bynon

Please join us in welcoming Todd Bynon to Tangram! Todd is joining the team as Chief of Staff for Tangram Studio. He was previously a Production Manager for Lisi Aerospace, working in the civilian aerospace sector for the last 10 years following his service in the active duty U.S. Air Force. Todd grew up in Hunlock Creek, a small town in Pennsylvania that neighbors Scranton. Staying true to his home state, he looks forward to eventually becoming center fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies. The need-to-know: His likes include his wife’s fried chicken and enthusiastically sarcastic emojis. We are thrilled to have him on board and see how his unique experience and fresh perspective will play a notable role in Studio’s ongoing development. Welcome, Todd, we’re happy to have you!
1. Name, title?
Todd Bynon, Chief of Staff for Tangram Studio
2. Where is your hometown?
Hunlock Creek, PA. It’s a small town about 30 minutes south of Scranton (for all the Dunder Mifflin fans out there).
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I spent the last 5 years as a Production Manager for Lisi Aerospace.
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do?
Plan a trip back home to see my family. I don’t get to go home as often as I’d like.
5. If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why?
The origin of my name, Todd, is old English and Scottish for fox. It’s either because I’m cunning and sly like one or it could just be because I have red hair.
6. If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
She’ll never tell me what she puts in it that makes it so good, but I could eat my wife’s fried chicken for every meal, every day!
7. What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Tangram?
I’m excited to work with the creative, dynamic Studio team. I’m really looking forward to learning all aspects of the industry after spending my entire career in aerospace.
8. What was your dream job growing up?
Since I haven’t grown up yet I still have aspirations to become starting center fielder for the PhiladelphiaPhillies or a National Park Forest Ranger if I don’t make it out of spring training.
9. Which emoji do you use the most?

Clapping hands. Effectively used for congratulations or heavy sarcasm
10. What do you hope to bring to the Tangram team?
I served in the active duty U.S. Air Force for ten years before entering and working in the civilian aerospace sector for almost 10 years. I’ve been around the world and have been exposed to a lot of great, and sometimes not-so-great experiences. I hope to bring all of that experience to the Tangram Studio team and make a lot of great new experiences along the way.
