Where Design Meets Healing: Tangram Interiors Hosts Healthcare Trade Show in Santa Fe Springs

Santa Fe Springs, CA – Tangram, a leader in commercial interior environments and experiences, successfully hosted its inaugural Healthcare Trade Show over multiple days at its Santa Fe Springs showroom.

The event, held from April 29–30, May 1–2, and May 6–9, brought together top minds and manufacturers in healthcare design and innovation. Over eight days, Tangram conducted 56 guided tours, a notable increase from 41 tours in nine days the previous year.
With over 30 participating manufacturers, the show created a robust and dynamic environment for healthcare professionals, architects, and designers to engage with the latest products, technologies, and solutions shaping the future of healthcare spaces.
Invited attendees included decision-makers and influencers from organizations such as USC Keck Medical, UCLA Medical, Cedars-Sinai, Smith Group, Hoag, Corgan, MD Architects, LA County and HOK.
“This event was a platform for meaningful conversations around how environments can elevate care, healing, and operational excellence,” said Kellie Reed, Vice President, Business Development + Healthcare Practice Leader of Tangram Interiors. “We were thrilled to host so many leading voices in healthcare design under one roof and look forward to sparking new ideas that support better outcomes for both patients and providers.”

Tangram’s Santa Fe Springs showroom provided an interactive space where attendees experienced product vignettes, connected directly with manufacturers, and gained insights into the evolving needs of healthcare environments, from clinical functionality to wellness-centered aesthetics.
The event received strong praise from attendees:
“It was such a lovely event, and extremely helpful to healthcare interior designers. It’s hard for us to see and compare all the options and also speak with reps about options/concerns/customization, all in one place. Our group always runs out of time, as we appreciate being able to get in the weeds with the details and components,” said Kristin Ellingsen, CHID, EDAC, NCIDQ, CCIDC, Facilities Space Planner and Facility Design and Construction for City of Hope. “I am not aware of any event similar to this, where it is just healthcare furniture and misc. It’s a flawless coordination of manufacturers and designers, and I am impressed with Tangram’s attention to detail in the flow. I hope it continues next year.”
“The event was thoroughly inspiring and worthwhile, offering a wonderful opportunity to see a wide array of products, both local and national, gathered in one location. The diverse range of participants added to the engaging atmosphere, making it a truly meaningful experience,” said Alyssa Scholz, Principal and Regional Health Market Leader at CannonDesign. “The discussions and presentations were insightful, providing valuable takeaways for everyone involved. Additionally, the networking opportunities allowed for meaningful connections and collaborations that I believe will have a lasting impact.”
“The Health Spaces event at Tangram was a fantastic opportunity to connect with so many familiar faces in the A+D community and explore the latest innovations in healthcare design,” said Elizabeth Dobson, Interior Designer at Boulder Associates. “It was inspiring to see such a wide range of products, especially from manufacturers who aren’t typically associated with the healthcare space but brought fresh, forward-thinking ideas to the table. Having so much design-driven innovation under one roof made for a truly engaging experience!”
“Tangram’s Health Spaces event brings the best of HCD and NeoCon to SoCal,” said Helen Yee, Facilities Project Planner at Keck Medicine of USC. “With 40+ vendors, it’s a valuable resource for our Keck Medicine of USC team and a great opportunity to build relationships with manufacturers and peers across health systems and design. Thank you to the Tangram team for another memorable and productive experience.”
“It’s amazing how Tangram has been instrumental in providing industry events like this one, specifically targeting health spaces, and in having Dr. Sonya Lozowski as part of our group tour. How exciting is that!!” said Pam Goff, Design & Logistics Senior Specialist at Hoag Hospital. “I love that if we had any specific questions, we had someone to help guide us through products and/or information during our tour. Looking forward to the next event!”
