The firm wasn't just growing—they were reimagining what an insurance office could be. CEO David Poms envisioned a headquarters that would shatter industry stereotypes, creating a space that felt more like a vibrant community hub than a traditional corporate environment.
The challenge was multifaceted: accommodate rapid expansion across 15,000 square feet while creating a magnetic workplace that would attract top talent across generations. Poms & Associates needed a space that would foster genuine collaboration between team members, clients, and visitors—something that felt warm and welcoming rather than sterile and corporate. The firm wanted their new headquarters to embody their values of inclusivity and innovation, serving as both a functional workspace and a powerful statement about their company culture.
How we brought the vision to life
Tangram Interiors joined forces with Studio Blitz to bring Poms & Associates' ambitious vision to life through a design philosophy centered on natural warmth and human connection. The team embraced soft curves and earthy tones as the foundation, creating an environment that felt sophisticated yet approachable. Every design decision was made with intentionality—from the strategic placement of communal areas to the integration of custom-curved glass partitions that provided privacy without sacrificing the open, connected feeling the firm desired.
The heart of the design centered around creating spaces where people naturally wanted to gather. A central café seamlessly flowed into a private outdoor patio, while a versatile wine-tasting lounge could transform into dynamic event space when needed. Tangram's expertise shined in the careful curation and installation of furniture solutions that complemented the curved aesthetic while respecting budget parameters. From custom-built case goods to warm-toned wooden surfaces, every piece was selected to support the sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere that would make employees excited to come to work each day.

Aldgate
The Aldgate is a fully upholstered booth or banquette with horizontal channels. Aldgate can be built to any dimensions and works well in commercial spaces.
Answer Beam
DYNAMIC SURFACES Answer beam accommodates tethered, fixed-height desking and can also be combined with height-adjustable desks to encourage healthy movement and posture support, from seated to standing height. Answer beam offers a wide range of low-height applications that define spaces and provide power access. Answer beam utilizes the same junction and horizontal connecting bar construction as Answer panels.
Funda
Enveloping, light and comfortable. Meet the upholstered chair designed by Stefan Diez, shaped to promote circular economy. Funda is created following an innovative process, which minimizes environmental impact. The chair is made of two different pieces: a metallic structure that works as skeleton and an upholstered seat, with technical fabric, that shape and bring comfort. Both parts can be recycled independently, extending its lifecycle and fostering circular economy. With Funda we optimize resources, without compromising on comfort or resistance. The furniture collection includes an armchair and a stool, in both bar and counter height. Available in leather or in different upholstery finishes.
