Alex is joining the Technology team as Senior Account Executive, previously working for LG Electronics and bringing 10 years of BD and sales experience with him. A resident of Bainbridge Island, WA, Alex spends his weekends hanging out with his kids, playing music with friends, playing pickleball, grabbing a drink at the local pub or hosting backyard hangs. 2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
Hometown is Wellesley Massachusetts, but moved away to go to college and never looked back! Currently reside on Bainbridge Island, WA, a short and beautiful ferry
ride from downtown Seattle.
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
Worked for LG Electronics as a Senior Technical Business Development Manager. In short, I focused on the specifier community (architects, consultants). I’ve been in this
kind of biz dev/sales role for 10 years, and was a design consultant before that.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Hanging out with my kids, doing house projects, and playing music with friends.
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
Play some Pickleball (this is where the sport was invented) or hang in our backyard playing badminton. After that, the local pub or sub-par wineries!
6. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
Having people over to hang out in the yard, like COVID never happened!
7. Salty or Sweet? What’s your favorite snack?
Used to be sweet, but now salty. Oh wait, both at the same time. Chocolate covered pretzels or trail mix will do, thanks!
8. Do you have a favorite quote, piece of advice, or core value you live by?
Positive thoughts and actions lead to positive results.
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
I love a good game when it counts. I have so much respect for an athlete’s dedication and focus, I find it inspiring regardless of the team or sport. Don’t tell anyone, but I
was totally into Curling during the Olympics! I love to also experience that same human dedication through music, dance, and other arts. Wow that sounds cheesy but it’s
true!
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
COVID has required EVERYONE to rethink the use of technology in the workplace… and this new reality puts Tangram in the perfect place to provide enticing office
interiors with integrated, updated technology. Expectations are high in order to lure the workforce back to the office. I am here to help make that happen along with the
talented Tangram team. So excited to do so!
