Meet Ali Gilmore
Help us welcome Ali Gilmore to Tangram. Ali Gilmore will be joining us in Newport Beach as a Sales Representative. Ali comes from Long Beach, CA with a background in Corporate Interiors. She enjoys completing DIY home projects and going to the beach. Welcome to the team Ali, we're happy to have you!

2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Long Beach and currently live in Costa Mesa
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
Before transitioning to the sales side of the industry, I was an interior designer focusing on corporate interiors.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
On the weekends you can usually find me working on home renovation projects or hanging out with friends at a local brewery
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
Second Street is a fun place to hang out, shop and eat. And of course, there is always the beach or bay on sunny days.
6. What is a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
I'm always learning new skills around fixing up my home. Each new project brings new challenges and opportunities to learn (aka fix my mistakes :P)
7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
Two years ago I hosted Thanksgiving at my new home. It was special to be able to have everyone over to celebrate since I had never hosted and cooked a full Thanksgiving meal. Thankfully, everything turned out great and nothing caught fire.
8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
My fiancé proposed over the summer. He asked me at the top of the Ferris Wheel at the OC fair at sunset - the same place he asked me to be his girlfriend. All of our friends were waiting when we got off to surprise me and spend the rest of the evening celebrating with us.
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
When it comes to sports I am a bandwagoner. Whoever everyone else is cheering for, I'll join in. I enjoy the fun of sports games, but my motto is 'here for the beer'.
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
I'm really looking forward to joining an amazing company with a great reputation. Furniture really makes a space and I'm so excited to be able to work with many different manufactures to help create something beautiful. I hope that I can bring fun and excitement as well as strong lasting relationships to my new team.
