Meet Andrew Roche

Please join us in welcoming Andrew Roche to Tangram! Andrew is joining the SFS team as a Sales Data Analyst, previously contracting for design firms like H. Hendy. When he's not in the office, you'll find him coaching or playing hockey. We are thrilled to have this lifelong learner pave the way for this new role with his experience and fresh perspective. 2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?

I’m from Costa Mesa and currently live in Bellflower

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

I did independent contracting for design companies H. Hendy and Symmetry 8 Studios.

4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

Coaching or playing hockey

5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?

Chris & Pitts BBQ

6. What’s a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?

Well a lot of things, but I’d especially like to learn more languages.

7. Which 3 words would your family/friends use to describe you?

I’m not too sure, I’ve never asked.

8. What’s your favorite movie, book, or musical artist/band?

Movie is The Last Samurai, Book is the Sherlock Holmes series, Band is Anberlin

9. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you’ve cooked or eaten! What made it special?

It wasn’t the best meal, but a memorable one for me was convenience store instant noodles in Kyoto, Japan. Everyone I was with went to a famous curry place but I wanted something different, so I went out on my own. I got lost though and by the time I found my way back there were no restaurants open.

10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?

I’m starting in a newly created role, so I look forward to helping figure out the scope of the role and also hope to bring a fresh perspective in my capacity in said role.
