Meet Andy Gastelum

Andy is joining the Flooring + Construction Services team as a Project Estimator, previously working for a tile & stone company in a similar role. 2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?

I grew up in Tucson, AZ and now live in Santa Clarita, CA

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

I previously worked for a tile & stone company doing Estimating, Business Development and Proposal Writing.

4. Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Tom Hardy

5. What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Persistent, Funny, Friendly

6. Are you a dog person or a cat person?

Both

7. What’s the first concert you ever went to?

AC/DC

8. Are you more productive in the mornings, afternoons or evenings? Why?

I'm more productive in the mornings because my body clock works best when I wake up and feel fresh.

9. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

Going to the beach or making carne asada with my family, attending church and joining online beer festivals

10. What are you most looking forward to in your new role and what do you hope to bring to the team?

I'm looking forward to focusing on estimating, working with Tangram's digital software, taking clients for jet van rides (because we are landing projects) and growing with the company. I hope to bring leadership skills, tile & stone installation knowledge, new ideas for bidding large scale projects, innovation, motivation and enthusiasm.
