Meet Emilie Lesser
Please join us in welcoming Emilie Lesser to Tangram! Emilie is joining the team as a Student Intern, previously working as an Assistant Stage Manager for an event production company. When she's not in the office or at school, this NAU student spends her weekends out and about exploring Santa Barbara or hiking. We are thrilled for Emilie to learn about the industry as she brings her diverse skills and fresh perspective to the table. Welcome, Emilie, we're happy to have you!

2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
Agoura Hills, CA / Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I worked at Vision Matrix Productions, Inc. which is an event production company. I worked shows as an assistant stage manager and helped in the office as well.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
I love being active and getting out on weekends – exploring Ventura, Santa Barbara or taking hikes!
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
Agoura has a great sandwich shop - Italia Deli & Bakery, and we are also close to The Stonehaus – a beautiful restaurant and vineyard. Another good spot is Chesebro Park for anyone who loves being outdoors!
6. What’s your favorite holiday and/or season? Why?
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love spending time with family and the important people in my life! This is also one of my favorite seasons because we get snow in the mountains.
7. If we didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
It would be nice to have the extra time to travel more! I have a lot of international family and would love to visit more.
8. What show are you currently binge-watching? Or, which show/channel is your “go-to”?
I grew up on Marvel movies and comedy so those are always great! I also love watching sports – soccer, water polo, baseball, and hockey.
9. Have you ever met (or want to meet) anyone famous? If so, who?
I went to school with Adam Levine’s brother, so I have met the singer several times. I also had the opportunity to meet his band at a concert Vision Matrix Productions produced! In addition, I have met Michael Milken - a close client of my family’s firm.
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
Commercial design and LEED architecture are of great interest to me, and I cannot wait to learn more about the industry through Tangram. Further, I come from a diverse background of event production, graphic design, business, and interior design. I hope to bring a unique perspective and an open mind to the team environment.
