Meet Joanne Millard
Please join us in welcoming Joanne Millard to Tangram! She is joining the Tangram California team as a Designer. When she's not in the office, you can find Joanne with her family enjoying a day at the amusement park, going for a swim at the beach, or watching a new movie. She's looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and bringing even more success to the team. We are thrilled to have you here at Tangram!
1. What is your name and job title?
Joanne Millard, Designer
2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
My hometown is Forked River, NJ and I now live in Corona, CA
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I previously worked at a Steelcase dealership as a Sr. Designer.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
On the weekends I usually spend my time with my husband and children. We enjoy going to amusement parks, the beach, having get togethers with friends, swimming in our pool or watching movies together.
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
If someone was visiting my area I would suggest going to Glen Ivy Hot Springs, The Mission Inn Hotel, The Shops at Dos Lagos or the Eagle Glen Golf Club.
6. What's a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
A skill that I would like to learn more about would be flipping homes. I have always been interested in using my design skills to fix up old and rundown homes and make them beautiful again.
7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
The most memorable meal I have eaten was from Roy's restaurant in Kauai. It was special because I was on my honeymoon and we made it a tradition to go back to a Roy's location every year for our anniversary.
8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
My favorite memory this past year was when my parents were here visiting from New Jersey.
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
I don't spend a lot of time watching sports, but when I do, I cheer for the Denver Broncos and the Angels.
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
I am most looking forward to working with old friends and colleagues and being part of a company that is a leader in our industry. I hope my years of experience and dedication to my work will help increase the success of our team.
