Meet Mario Divincenzo

Please join us in welcoming Mario Divincenzo to Tangram. Mario is joining the Tangram Construction Trades team as a Project Manager, bringing 15 years of project management experience from a residential and commercial slab and tile company. While he was born in London, he now lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and children. On the weekend, find him working on home improvement projects, whipping up a delicious meal, or tending to his chickens. We are thrilled to have his many years of experience and knowledge, as well as his genuine and collaborative spirit on the team. Welcome, Mario, we're happy to have you!

Mario Divincenzo, Project Manager for Tangram Construction Trades

 

2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?

Originally from London, England, lived in Montebello until 2008, now live in Redondo Beach.

 

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

I worked for a company that produced finished products from natural and engineered slabs and installed natural and engineered tile. I was a Project Manager for 15 years over seeing the projects from contract to completion for residential and commercial buildings.

 

4. Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Tom Hanks most definitely.

 

5. What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Genuine, curious, and perfectionistic

 

6. Are you a dog person or a cat person?

I have never owned a dog or a cat, but I would say that I am a dog person. I have chickens, does that count?

 

7. What’s the first concert you ever went to?

Andrea Bocelli who opened for Sting at the Hollywood Bowl.

8. Are you more productive in the mornings, afternoons or evenings? Why?

I am absolutely a morning person ready to take on the world and get things done. Evenings for me are to unwind and enjoy my time with a great meal surrounded by my wife and kids.

 

9. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

You would find me engaged in a home improvement project or prepping for an amazing dinner.

 

10. What are you most looking forward to in your new role and what do you hope to bring to the team?

I am looking forward to the collaborative sharing of knowledge I have earned from my years in the slab and tile industry to help facilitate growth of the construction trades side of Tangram.
