Tangram Interiors preps move to new Fresno showroom space

For 12 years Los Angeles-based Tangram Interiors has served the Central Valley, helping local school districts and businesses transform their workspace. Now they are giving themselves an upgrade with a new showroom in Fresno.

Tangram is moving a mile and a half north to 7700 N. Palm Ave., leasing a 6,500 square-foot space in a building with street signage visible to motorists along the busy stretch of Palm just south of Nees Avenue.

Their current showroom, last renovated in 2019 with updated displays in the corporate, education and health care environments, is 5,000 square feet. It is located at 677 W. Palmdon Dr.

The space has played host to The Business Journal’s 60 Ideas in 60 Minutes virtual speakers event for the last several years.

“I’m thrilled to be able to showcase all of what Tangram can bring to the table — to the community. With our other space, we were limited on space. We’re not going to have that roadblock this time,” said Tangram Interiors Regional Manager Alyssa Armesto. “The options of what we can do with the space are endless.”

A larger space for Tangram Interiors allows the team to showcase various applications within their space, inspire clients and show them what their business could be.

The team will be able to demonstrate various virtual conferencing applications and showcase its entire technology division.

“We want to show our commitment to the community – we signed a 10-year lease. We’re not going anywhere, and we are investing in this new space, not only for our internal team, to give them a beautiful office, but to service our community,” said Armesto.

Discussion for a new space began in summer 2022. Armesto said they paired up with a real estate broker to see what was available in Fresno.

By December of the same year, Tangram Interiors landed on the location. The North Palm space is in a premier building that meets all the company’s needs, Armesto said.

Those who drive by can recognize it quickly.

Tangram Interiors will call this new place home in February 2024.

“I’m really excited for our internal team, too. It’s a new place to call home, something that can inspire them internally. We’ll be able to work collaboratively and seamlessly with our clients all over the community and all over the state,” said Armesto.

At the beginning of Q2 2024, Tangram plans on having a showroom opening party for the community to see the new space.

Founded in 1963, woman-owned Tangram Interiors has its headquarters in Santa Fe Springs and locations in Newport Beach, Downtown Los Angeles, Bakersfield and a Dallas-Fort Worth office that opened this past summer.

“We’re constantly growing. We’re a large organization, but we’re still family-owned, and you get that feeling when you work when you work for us. People are at the center of everything we do, and we’ve got just a killer culture,” Armesto said.
