Southern California-based commercial interior environments curator, Tangram Interiors, is officially a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the National Women's Business Enterprise Council. This follows the appointment of Sonya Mitrovich Lozowski as company chairman. Mitrovich Lozowski manages performance, strategic initiatives, as well as the company's philanthropic efforts and community programs. With previous experience as a managing member of Pacific Holdings and as a medical director of a health centre at the University of MI Health System, she plans to boost the presence of women in leadership roles at Tangram. To qualify as a WBE, the company must be 51% women-owned, and the top executive officer must be a woman with technical expertise, among other requirements.
